What is atmospheric pressure ?

  •          The earth is surrounded by air all around.
  •          The thick envelope of air is called atmosphere.
  •          The atmosphere extends up to 150 kilometers above the surface of the earth.
  •          The pressure exerted by air is called atmospheric pressure.
  •          The atmospheric pressure at sea level is aproximately 1,00,000 N/m Square.
